Do you have to drag your body out of bed every morning?
Are you struggling to fit more into your day but your body just won’t come along for the ride?
There are a lot of us running on empty these days.
You know it’s important to exercise and lose weight and you really do want to look and feel your best, but it takes so much energy to just get through your daily routine, there’s nothing left for anything else. Right?
Welcome to the club.
We live in a very toxic world. You eat “foods” that are highly processed when you take the time to eat at all. You get up early and go to bed late. In between you work crazy hours at a very stressful job. You are pushing yourself to do more and you don’t stop long enough to pay attention to the price you are paying for all this until:
* You start to notice that you are getting sick more frequently
* Your belly is getting larger with pounds that just won’t go away.
* Your sleep has become restless and you are starting to get indigestion.
* You are frequently constipated and your skin has gotten dry and itchy.
* You are feeling anxious, depressed and you are exhausted all the time.
Not a pretty picture.
You can go to a doctor who will give you a pill to manage each of your symptoms but soon you will be taking pills to deal with the side effects of the other pills.
You will start to feel old long before your time.
Want to know how to hit the reset button?
It’s not as hard as you think. The best place to start is with a gentle detox. This is a great time of year to give it a try. Daylight savings starts March 10th, which means that spring is not far behind. It’s time to shed the winter doldrums and get yourself reinvigorated for the beautiful days ahead.
A detox doesn’t mean you have to do anything crazy.
I admit, there are some pretty unusual ones on the market today but that’s not what I am talking about. Your body is actually trying to detoxify itself all the time. We make it impossible for it to do its job well when we burden our system with artificial sweeteners, sugars, chemicals, food dyes, trans fats and highly processed “foods.” We are also further burdened by a growing list of “healthy” foods we can no longer digest properly because of our compromised digestive systems.
Eliminating those foods and replacing them with delicious and nourishing fresh whole foods that are easy to digest will give your body the welcome respite it needs to detoxify properly.
The effects will be transformative. Nagging health problems will suddenly disappear, extra weight will drop away and for the first time in your life you will experience what it truly means to feel healthy.
We have watched this miracle happen over and over again.
It’s exciting every time.
