Linda J. Denny became President Emeritus of the nonprofit Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) in April, 2011 and is a leading advocate for and authority on women’s business enterprises (WBEs) as suppliers to corporations. During her five years as president and CEO she led the organization in significant growth by creating and implementing a strategic plan that addressed all aspects of the organization.

She was responsible for the “spin out” of WBENC’s global certification program and helped found WEConnect International. She was also instrumental in the creation of certification programs for the US Gay Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and the US Business Leadership Network.

A nationally-recognized expert in the field of women’s business development, Ms. Denny draws upon her experience from the corporate, financial services, and entrepreneurial arenas to support the development and growth of women owned businesses and to address the financial needs of women. She frequently writes on these topics and is quoted in the press.

Co-founder of New York based e-commerce start-up, Hoseanna, Katrina Carroll-Foster is also a brand & marketing strategist, focusing on growth-oriented start-ups. Katrina also collaborates with the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs on strategic projects. Formerly, Katrina has led marketing, communications and sales for some of BC’s most well-known brands including Intrawest, Opus Hotels, and the Rick Hansen Foundation.

Katrina leads the Steering Committee Chair for FWE (Forum for Women Entrepreneurs), where she has also served as a mentor and speaker. Katrina previously served on the board of Dress for Success, and founded Y.E.S! (Young Executives for Success).

Leslie Linton is senior vice president of MWW Group with offices in New York City and New Jersey. A 25-year veteran of broadcast news, Linton has been with MWW Group since 2005. Prior to joining MWW, Linton was a senior-level network television producer at CNN, CNBC, and NBC.

Linton has received numerous industry accolades including the George Foster Peabody Broadcast award for live stock market coverage. She is a graduate of American University in Washington, DC and holds a degree in broadcast journalism.

Elsa Lomsdalen – France

Elsa Lomsdalen is designer and founder of Studio XS, a multidisciplinary design collective situated in Antibes in the south of France. There she works with projects across the different design disciplines, such as graphic design and branding, interior design, product design and decorative art.

Before she packed her suitcase and moved to France, Elsa was the co-owner and creative director of the Oslo based design studio Antenna for nine years. At Antenna she was in charge of branding and trend development for Norway’s leading interior chain and worked with several other major clients within the fields of lifestyle, interior and fashion. She also has a background as an art director for numerous magazines, some of which she developed from idea to finished product. Elsa holds a BFA in communication design from Middlesex University, London.

Guillermo-Newton is a trained mediator and also holds a license in Marriage, Family and Child Therapy. She has worked for over 20 years as an Organizational Development consultant for private and public organizations.
